I would guess we are going to lose 50,000 jobs in this line of business I would guess you are vastly understating that statistic. Your guess is only 1,000 per state. That may be the number in Montana and Wyoming, but I'll bet they lose a lot more than 1,000 in the Detroit area alone, to say nothing of the rest of Michigan. Rock Financial here has 1500 employees, and all they do are mortgages. BTW, they have been advertising the hell out of their new interest only loans. The poor schmucks taking out these things are so hosed. <ng>
