In the history of all of Bush's reckless spending, there has been *very little* in the way of traditional democratic causes. Most money has gone to corporate subsidies. You'd think, from the spending pace, that Bush was saving corporate america or something, ala the Chrysler bailout in the 70s. But these companies especially the corporate farms are immensely profitable. There is no reason for this. The workers, otoh are hurting big time due to globalization and could use some of this cash, if we are going to stage the biggest treasury raid of all time. Too late though the money is gone.

Its just like I read on the congress.org website where 5 out of 6 posts are anti-Bush vitriol, this economy is the long hard slog, for the little people.

Watching Bush, it reminds me a little of Charles Wang, remember him? Inherits his fathers name and company and runs it into the ground.
