Thank you for replying. I am looking at another CPU and/or laptop. Since I travel back and forth for six months at a time a CPU is cumbersome but I have always had one. I tried a LCD ..... giving away my 17inch CRT.1 year old .. Trinitron...for fifty bucks...and didn't think the 17 inch was as good as my CRT had been so took it back. Now, using an old TTX 15 inch screen that is adequate but looking and trying to decide what to do about future computing. Again, thanks, Suma
