I'm struggling for ideas also. Someone on another board mentioned the PIMCO fund to me also, but I haven't looked at it closely yet. I had some thoughts about building a list of "big name" foreign companies to take a look at, but most do a lot of business in the US. So I don't there's any huge advantage to going that route. Maybe if I can find some small ones it would be OK, but that's tougher.

KO, does a lot of business overseas, but it never seems cheap enough for me to get involved.

There are also some foreign bond funds out there, but I'm not sure which currency I even want at this stage. I read that Templeton was focusing on Canada, New Zealand, and Australia. But that was 30% or so ago.
