I think you're on target on all counts. The left has conquered Europe and is hell-bent on finishing us off. I think it started with the tabloidization of the mainstream media, replacing rational and reasoned discourse with emotion-driven, knee-jerk quick fixes that result in policies that often conflict with human nature, human needs, and the objectives they are supposedly enacted to achieve. Of course, the "dumbing down" of America has made the population receptive to emotion-driven quick fixes without critical analysis or appreciation of cause and effect, let alone the long term effects. But I digress. Must listen to Tom Brokenjaw lament about the "good old days" of JFK and Camelot (groan).
