I dislike the far left and the far right. Maybe I'm like Kerry a bit to the left on most issues, especially the environment (which should be a non-partisan issue if not for all the pollution lobbyists) but I'm also to the right a bit on some issues. Like most Americans, that puts me in the great middle, which the Bushies have abandoned except when it gets near election day.

My America would have parties working together without the poison of the radicals on the right, the corruptive soft money and lobbyists and the Kucinich style quasi-socialists on the left. My views on almost all policies are extremely popular and in the majority.

Like I've said many times, I have full admiration for common sense honest conservatives. Problem is the neo-right has hijacked the GOP and turned it into a party of cheats, pirates, liars and zealots. Along with terrorism, that is the single greatest problem the US and the world face today, a fact most people in the world would agree on.

The takeover of the US by the hardline corporate/"Christian" right who actually seem to want war, pollution, a bankrupt Treasury and sharp partisan division. Frankly, I see nothing "Christian" about them and I believe they threaten our very democracy.

Bush's father I kind of liked and trusted to a degree.
His son and his gang I believe are political bandits.
