If anything, they are at greater risk today than they ever have been.

If the Israelis hadn't taken out Saddam's Nuke plant, He would be own Kuwait today. And Tel Aviv might not exist. Same problem, only cubed, will exist if the Iranian Mullahs get the bomb.

The Israelis are much better off because they used force. And their only way out is to continue to use it against anyone who openly says they want to wipe out Israel, and is making a bomb. We would certainly be remiss if we allowed Iran to develop one.

One prefers to emulate success, or, if no success is available, to at least avoid emulating failure.


The Israelis are still alive, when there have been numerous attempts to kill them. Was the bombing of Osirak such a failure then? You think their safety, and ours, would have been enhanced if Saddam had acquired nukes in time for the Iran-Iraq war?
