Very interesting educational exchange with The Freep there......That sentence, though - if I'm not stretching it - seems to be telling us to rely on regular TA more than EW??.......

My approach has pretty much been to look to EW....(.or, at least, trying to)...... to get some feel of the general market backdrop, but then to decide on individual stocks on the basis of what I've called "old-fashioned TA chart-chasing" ....volume, support, etc., as you mentioned ....... and, at least over the past year, that's worked pretty well.....
