Duke,

I completely don't get your point. Martha Stewart's inside trading probably saved her about $40,000, and I can't point my finger at any investor, employee or shareholder who was directly impacted by her action.

In contrast, Ken Lay ran an operation that ruined the careers of 1,000s, ruined the pensions of 1,000s and made a major multi-billion dollar dent in the wealth of 100,000s.

Comparing Martha's minor infraction, for which she is being ridiculously hounded by the little dick-head prosecutor trying to make a name for himself and a venal media whoredom with the free pass they are giving someone who did REAL DAMAGE TO PEOPLE is what irks the hell out of me.

In accounting there is a term called "materiality". I say Martha is immaterial. And the prosecutors are letting the really bad actors walk away scot free.
