Some seniors I have spoken to were not thrilled with that. Most of us have no idea how it will really end up working. The bill was never a shoo-in, but the Dems now have a tougher time fighting it. You have to realize that this late in the Political cycle, all they really care about is not giving Bush a "Win." They don't want him signing a medicare bill in the Rose Garden. OTOH, they can't go to the voters with the label that they stopped a drug bill for seniors. It is just too juicy for Rove. They are between a rock and a hard place now.
