I think that the rise in employment, which caused exuberance in the White House, was a temporary phenomenon.

Did you read the Samuelson column I posted this morning? The recovery is very broadbased.

Last week Verizon laid off another 21000 employees.

Lindy I did before I posted. IMO, because of the Christmas season, economy will seem to look good possibly. Important to see what happens between Jan to Sept 2004. And terrorist attacks will determine that.
