The safe bet for Democrats is a vote against the Medicare Bill. Most Democrats will vote against it and Republicans will have to defend it when it is actually implemented. Once criticism not even voiced yet - It adds another layer of billing bureaucracy. If a senior already has prescription drug coverage, the bill will first have to be submitted to Medicare or some other insurance company - then to the other carrier.
