i am sure this toyota prius info has already been on many websites, but i have not run across it yet. could someone point me to some techno link that will discuss or simply give the answer about electricity cost versus the gasoline cost? in almost total ignorance other than hearsay over 30 years i assume for equivalent car mileage that charging the prius batteries is more expensive than putting regular gasoline in the prius tank. i know tenn. valley power (tva) used to be cheap, but i have not kept up with tfa rates. unless one lives near a hydro dam electricity area, isn't electricity significantly more expensive than gasoline for moving that prius?
