Not sure about anything Freep. Certainly the retest of yesterday's low was bought hard but technically we are not really pushing anything yet. Have to wait.

I would note that on the QQQ, for instance, there have been many hours in the past week or two with the same volume as the first hour or second hour

I have us doing 33 million shares on the QQQ in the first hour, that's the highest hour since Oct 15.

Freep......Nothwithstanding yesterday's fiasco, have given a little more thought to where we might be...and will try again...(BTW have not followed various count suggestions on the thread this AM - including yours).....Here goes FWIW:........SPX/COMPX only..

Lows yesterday (CMPX) and the day before (SPX) completed an a-b-c wave A down from Nov 7 highs.

The c wave ran to 1xthe a wave in the SPX; and to 1.4xa in the COMPX........close enough to good FIB numbers.......

Assume we are now moving in a B wave up (still counting from the early Nov highs).... At today's highs, we have retraced almost half of the SPX decline Nov 7-18;...and not quite ,382 retrace in the COMPX. Retraces of .50-.618FIB by this B wave would take us to 1044-1051 SPX and 1923-1950 COMPX
