Perhaps the enviro whacko's are finally losing a bit of clout. Now if they can get into the Boundary Water area between Northern MN and Canada and get all of that down timber out of there I can go back and enjoy that area again.

You know AS is just like the enviro's. They make no sense. Keep repeating the same lies over and over again thinking they will somehow come true and for some reason have been believed over there years. Perhaps their time in the sun has come and gone.

We can only hope.

I've been tromping around in national forests lately, all containing a myriad of blowdowns which feed forest fires. I am all for protecting the environment, but some environmentalists are just plain clueless. Heck, the Indians had controlled fires to prevent such disasters long before the white man arrived and messed things up.

Finally, a couple democrats come to the realization that people's homes and lives are a helluva lot more important than some ground squirrel or one of the zillion species of birds. But, watch the tree huggers whine and exaggerate about what will happen. Hopefully, they will climb one of the trees they are so concerned about and hang out for the next few months.
