Thank you. It helps me sort the wheat from the chaff. And
it let's me rant about things important to me without fear
of being moderated too ;-)

Since 9/11, I think most folks have given more priority to
understanding their government & politics. Fear &
uncertainty will do that. I'm sure you noticed that it
also brought out more passion, more intensity & more
extremes in may folks, both good & bad.

For me, it was imperative to know who, what, when & why
from a reality based perspective. Part of that meant
accepting that I am biased along with everyone else & keep
reminding myself of it. That is, if I'm going to be
genuinely informed.

Knowledge is power. And it forces more objectivity into
formulating opinions & conclusions. Or so it should.

JMVHO
