You've made no case against me because I said nothing about terrorists not remaining proud of their work. It's irrelevant to what I said. It is no revelation to me that 100 years from now Islamic terrorists may exist who are proud of their work. Still, the general populace of Germany isn't terribly proud of Hitler.

What's this talk of the ME Paradigm? You appear to suggest we cannot defeat Islamic terrorists with an effort. Are you only trying to say they won't give up? Should we? Do you believe they will not bother us if we simply leave them be? I think you are dead wrong.

Will we have to become like them and live under their rule in order to be free of terrorism from them? Hopefully not, eh? So I might surmise you are sure they will leave us in peace so long as we leave them alone. Or will we have to abandon free trade across the Muslim world, which now tempts their people who are not so fervent, in order to satisfy them? What need we do and not do to pacify them? Have you an ironclad plan short of war which allows our freedom to continue on as we'd like? Tell me, and I'll know why you advise we not fight. They attack out of the blue. Their words are defiantly ruthless. Must we sit passively through this? If we are passive, will they really stop? I have no reason to believe our inaction will quell their fervor at all. What sort of ME paradigm do you see? How will your vision lead us to peace?

Just rambling,

Dan B.
