Legitimizing deviant behavior should not be a function of government. They can do what they want but don't ask the government to sanction their perversion.

Everyone is treated equally, any man can marry a woman and any woman can marry a man. Very nice and simple. I don't believe in prosecuting consenting sexual behavior between adults in privacy, but I don't believe two people of the same sex should be able to enter into a marriage that is the equivalent of two people of the opposite sex being married. The main driver behind marriage was to give a secure environment for children and thus strengthen the community. Since 2 gays can never have kids, why should they be allowed to marry?
