Bald,

I understand your view. But they think we are the evil people -- don't you get it? We can't just bomb the crap out of them and then expect them to say "oh ya' now I understand, we've been mistaken, let us reverse our beliefs and traditions and go home now".

What Bush is doing essentially is beating an elephant with a noodle.

It may feel good, it seems kind of sensible -- but its illogical. It is just a great deal of NOTHING that'll set us all back.

Nobody ever said the war on terror would be short and sweet.

Bush did.
Rumsfled did.
Powell did.
Perle did.
Cheney did.
Wolfowitz did.

You did.

Cheney said it would be a matter of weeks, not months. Wolfowitz said it would cost about $40 Billion.
