Unfortunately for us -- and for the world in general, is that the guys who attacked us are not aligned with any particular, sovereign nation. In fact they prefer to keep it that way. If we want to bomb all the nations that have ties/relations with Al-Quieda we would be fighting the entire Arab world and then some. What the USA should have done, almost regardless of cost, was to organize a consolidated coalition of agents from a few dozen nations with the sole purpose of understanding, finding, and eliminate them. With an honest, combined effort -- the entire Al-queida thing - as we know it would be gone in 3 to 5 years with the added bonus of keeping them divided/on the go. -JH
