You're right, left-wing extremism or any extremism isn't what this country or world needs in any way, shape or form. Every time any extremists get power it means trouble. History has proven that one over and over. But socialism is not an evil. All the Euro countries and Canada are socialist and they are also capitalist. They do fine. Sure they have some problems and it's hard yto get rich quick but people feel secure because they know there's a safety net under them. I'm for a moderate amount of socialism, so long as it's run efficiency and actually saves money versus the alternative.
