My experience with DVD burning is that it is amazingly slow. I have 512MB Ram and am using a USB2 connection to the drive. The rendering is the slow part for me, about 4x the time of the actual write.

OK then if I buy a DVD burner for my system with 512 MB RAM I should be ok. Unless they don't have drivers for Win 98SE.
