Shorted 1000 MRK (Paper) 42.75, Up $990......I have never shorted so I am on paper and practicing. They canceled their testing on a diabetic drug....the rats were getting cancer. Not a good thang. dealie

I don't recall "Americans who voluntarily went to Afgan to place themselves near bombing targets of opportunity". Did they stay when the fighting started? I recall those who went to Iraq to stand near hospitals, schools, etc. They scrambled out of Iraq when they found out they had been misled & were going to be placed near military targets of opportunity (plus they found out other misleading things about SH & the group that sponsored them). "The hardcore will not relent." I agree with that. I was speaking about those who are not hardcore, I.E., so extreme in their views that they can't see the real world they live in. Like any group, those with the most extreme views rarely have the ability to be objective, so facts & reality won't do much to change their POV. As I said, I think most pacifists (the non-hardcore) will begin to see that in this world..... some folks are so evil & so vile, that if nothing is done to stop them, their ability to remain pacifist will be in danger without protection by those who understand there are things that are worth fighting for if we are to remain free.
