Sorry Mish, confused, I said
Last trading day for Comex is Monday, I agree with that,
Repeat: I agree.
Now, if you wish to cut hairs:
nymex.com
Exercise of Options

Until one hour after the contract market close, New York Time, on any business day for which the options contract is listed for trading. On expiration day, the buyer has until 4:00 P.M., New York time, to exercise an options contract.

Options expire at 4 pm NY time on Monday.

My "broker" at a major clearing house, who is not a broker but a sales person, can't make the difference either. He also has problems with NY time/exchange time and Chicago Time "most options" time.
I am closing my account to open one which gives me contact with a broker.

FWIW, silver pit closes 5 minutes earlier than gold.
My "broker" doesn't know the difference either.
