What an eye-opening post.

You posted almost an hour ago, and not one person on the left felt it worth commenting on.

And they harp and harp about including the UN in our decision making.

I wish someone had the ***** to get us out of the UN.

Regards,

Bob

It is possible. But remember, in places like Egypt and Jordan, we are not buying their votes, we are buying cooperation in disentangling the situation with Israel. Similarly, without the cooperation of Pakistan, it would have been inconceivably harder to have waged war in Afghanistan. In many instances, we are getting what we paid for, regardless of (usually meaningless) UN votes. Additionally, it is hard to say if the situation would be better or worse if the UN were simple mothballed. It is not worth much, but it may be worth something........
