So lets sell China our wheat and our beans. Free trade sucks. Not because of how it works but because of the unlevel playing field.
The softwood deal and the tactics of the Americans should be the perfect template for how most American companies want free trade to work.
China is on a roll. It is to our advantage to encourage trade with them. In time their inflation rate will out pace ours and a balance of sorts will eventualy come into effect.
Remember when everything from Japan was cheap ? Not so any more.
The best thing for us is the Chinese can now buy gold. I think the value of gold as an exchange item may finaly be happening.

As to gold not breaking 400. I look at this as a positive. We want the bull move in Gold to remain soft and steady. Let it bore most investors to death. This should be only year 2 in a 15 to 20 year long bull run. Its the big moves and drops that distract too many from the real picture.

Take care
