Mikey and Otellini don't like McNealy referring to Itanium as Itanic constantly on the airwaves. There is no love lost between these people.

McNealy may have achieved the result he wanted though, because Itanic is perceived as a donkey now. Intel did this once before with the Celeryon, where the market reaction to the product was lukewarm and tney marketed their way out of it. But that was a low end chip and wintel was at its zenith.
