Well IBM isn't toast, but they used to dominate everything didn't they? And there were whole companies (storage tek comes to mind) whose entire business hinged on complete IBM domination of all computing. So here comes Linux, most software growth is offshore and non-US sites are rejecting windows... and Dell is essentially wintel only. Sound good? Not to me it doesn't. I don't know about Sun, I'm not saying they are another Dell in the works, but their prospects are brighter now than a few months ago for sure.
