Well, I don’t want to damn you with my praise, but I say hip-hip-hooray for that, and I think you gave the right answer when you spoke at Northwestern University. Remember what you said? Did somebody ask you, say ‘why didn’t you wear a flag?’” Tom Brokaw: “Right. I said, you know, I wear a flag in my heart, but I think if you wear a flag, it’s a suggestion somehow that you’re endorsing what the administration is doing at the time. Even though Brokaw wrote a book praising the veterans of WWII, he fails to understand what is occurring today in the Muslim terrorist world. Can you believe he doesn't think a journalist should wear a flag lapel pin. Who, better than him, a nightly news anchor, should be wearing a flag pin to indicate his support for America and that he believes in this country and what it stands for. He can hold all the opinions he wants regarding the administration but these beliefs should not weigh on his demonstration of pride for his country. He is a fool, like the rest of the liberal-biased media, that refuses to recognize the truth for what it is today. The truth is that the world is in serious trouble with the terrorist issue. It cannot be wished away. It must be addressed. It must be faced with strength and resolve. Being a pussy won't get it done. Thank God for the greatness of America and those that are willing to wear the flag and fight for it.
