Some pretty decent upside in MSSN, ROYL, PYR & CSPLF, today.

That's encouraging on another down day in the major energy indices: XOI, XNG and OSX.

Looks like we're building credible bottom formations in a lot of the better energy picks, just as we've been filling out some of our most important positions in the sector.

Yet to see good confirmation that the bottoming process is complete. Butm hopefully we won't see too many more air pockets in individual names during the tax selling that's likely to at least slow the rise of some of them until the real cold weather starts to make large draws out of NG storage. By late Dec into January we should have the wind at our backs, in a big way.

As Slider liked to say,

<Always arrive a little early for the party>.

That's especially important if you want to be well positioned in the leaders, which tend to move first.

FWIW, I think we're doing a good job with that while leaving some spare cash on hand in case there are some surprise blue light specials between now and year end.

Have a great weekend.
