Ascending into heaven would be a very minor thing for God to accomplish. Walking on water would be no different than you walking in the park day dreaming about Buddha.

Oh I don't day-dream of Buddha joe , all things inherently have "Buddha Nature" . And it translates very easily into any other religion , that is the miracle of the message of Buddha as he resisted temptation too and would not be moved .

Anyone can "walk on water " too....moderation in all things is the key , and knowing yourself.

( and the park i wandered thru was Yosemite Park for 2
yrs ...when I worked there in my youth...

...very nice place to live and see God at work everywhere you look! )

;)

Oh, ye of little faith...

Oh no , I have great faith Joe ....and see many things
congruouity and from above and underneath and within. ....and from one side and then the other .
Tis a wonderfully intricate Universe , the trick is to see it .

but I am not waiting for the 72 virgins in heaven , or out trying to martyr myself for some tribal entity of the imagination...or worrying about living forever in " eternity" , which would be rather boring , don't you agree?

(but do have little heavenly rapture of the deep now and
zen ! No monopoly do I see there by some others preaching the "Son of God proxies...
they have their God ,
I have mine own )

To each his own...I even go to the christian churches sometimes and sing psalms , btw....and some are quite Hindu and pagan in spirit , that is to say --->Joyous & hopeful in spirit and peaceful.

But it's those Baptist sunday morning gatherings that really rock ! A little rapture in the here and now never sent anyone to hell for eternity.

;)
