Molly Ivins and Arianna Huffington are a class to themselves. Full of invective and hyperbole, devoid of fact. Surely they get AmSpit's self-professed machismo boiling.

Molly Ivins is an expert on the BS of GW Bush. Unlike Coulter she doesn't lie and slander people, calling half the country "traitors", etc. She may not be your cup of tea but she cannot be compared to Coulter. Ivins is not a hate-monger, she is a rational writer and a measured, decent person, from what I've seen of her at least. I don't know her personally and admit I haven't read her books, just a few articles which were very fatcual. Molly also has a lot of guts to stand up to the GW old boy bully machine in her own state. Like the Dixie Chick she calls it like she sees it, and she's right. Many of the men in Texas are just plain wrong, greedy and dishonest. She calls them on it. There are also many moral, decent people in Texas. Unfortunately they are not the ones in charge, it seems.

"AS also conveniently failed to answer my question...." AS, like her pathological lying peers typically will avoid answering questions that expose her lies. They will ignore it, change the subject, make similar claims about others to deflect attention away from their lies, but rarely respond directly when they know it will prove they lied. And like AS, they can not provide credible evidence to support their lies. That's why they rarely link to credible sources & factual evidence. They just repeat the lie & pound away with it. I think that's why most of us here even bother reading & replying. We have such genuine disdain for unrepentant liars, particularly when they are told about something we take fairly seriously.
