Bush slipped the other day and admitted that the "partial birth" was as far as he thought we could go. Now they are talking about a Federal Law for harming a fetus. It's the Republican's version of the Democrat's "Salami" technique on Health care. Keep slicing away trying to get a fetus declared a human being by trying you for murder if you harm one.

Now that, I don't know. I don't see why not, though. Certainly if you claimed each other as spouses on your 1040s, and your State recognized the marriage, I don't see how it could be an issue.
