FWIW, When I lived there I finally came to the conclusion that the Israelis were fine people but the gov't is insane, and out for blood and land. The Arabs I knew were similar, but less capable by two orders of magnitude. Remind me again, which side was it that rejected an offer for 95%+ of the territories without a counter, and began expressing its gripes by blowing up pizza parlors? Not the side you call "out for blood and land". This is the side you want to give F-16s to, to even things up. What exactly would you expect Hamas to do with such weapons? I can just hear you complaining of the inhumanity of the Israeli response - without mentioning Israeli casualties. The Arabs are "less capable", they must be excused.
