Ray,

I ran across this on the Cooperative Research site related to plans to attack Afghanistan prior to 9/11:

cooperativeresearch.org The references to Afghanistan are toward the bottom under the heading, "Indications that the Bush administrations had plans for Afghanistan.".

I doubt the evidence could be considered conclusive without additional information, but it's certainly incriminating. If it could be proven there were definitive plans to invade Afghanistan, over throw the Taliban, and install a pipeline, it would be rather difficult to pretend letting 9/11 happen was not part of the program. About like a guy filling out claim forms for his wife's life insurance the day before she was murdered.
