Yes, and we have another $1.2 Trillion in debt and the job is only half done.

Pro, you should read David Brooks column in the New York Times today. He writes that, as a conservative, he favors marriage including gay marriage. Conservatives should favor marriage, not oppose it.

That's all well and good. But it fails to address the problems in Iraq. Further it fails to address how we go about getting Al Qaeda and UBL.

I recognize that Bremmer has some things back to normal, after all when you have spent a $100 billion, something should be better. So now we are basically back to where we were before bombing Iraq.

Unfortunately Saddam is still in the picture. He's still causing big problems. There are still insurgents. Now there are more terrorists in the country than there ever were. We've created a haven for them. The war has transitioned to a guerilla war, the kind that is very difficult to fight conventionally. More soldiers have been killed in this part of the war than in getting the "Mission Accomplished".

Sadly, the job of getting UBL and Al Qaeda has been diverted. This should have had the full focus of our efforts.

We did not need a war to oust Saddam. He could have been removed with out a shot being fired. I believe that by working with our allies, and working with the UN that we could have put Saddam out of business. But Bush chose to do things differently. It's cost a lot in treasure and blood to do it this way. More than 50,000 souls gone.

I know you believe in the second coming of Christ. And when Christ comes back, he'll likely come back to his old neighborhood. He might have already been on earth. He might have been in Baghdad preparing to save the world. But what if one of the bombs Bush dropped has already killed Christ?

I disagree with the way the President has mis-led the country. The means does not justify the ends. The means must glorify the end, or otherwise the end is without glory.
