The next step for the Oxford scholar would be to help draft laws and legislation... See where it ends? It is people like him acting behind the scenes that are the most dangerous.

But Dawkins does admit that some scientists do experience "epiphany" and what amounts to rapture ...and they do so only after years of arduous work , study & collaboration. I've seen more that amounts to rapture in the sciences often than i do faked in some religious rote ritual.

this should give anyone with an open mind an insight to the many ways in which the "Divinity" does operate in multiple ways within the panoply of individual human system and reveals----> HERSELF ! .;-)

One can only imagine these kinds of deep states of satisfaction that are produced when a man comes to some great revelation of how something works in the world , or a medicine and after persuing it with all his brain and heart for years ...and the result is the allieviation of great human suffering etc ...or change in the mental landscape of human beings for the betterment of all if they are paying attention
(and giving proper thanks)

Well there's Jesus for one instance...who could easily be seen as a radical-psychotherapist for his time , and kicking over the money lender's tables or defying the priests was just what the doctor ordered!

;)
