I'm leaving for Rome and then Naples for a few days tomorrow. Should be interesting to see the difference between there and Sardinia. Don't get me wrong, I really like the Sardinian people personally. They are very friendly. My car broke down last night in the parking lot of my sons football practice and I hardly had to ask someone to give us a lift 7 miles to home. With my kids in Italian school and my wife speaking better and better Italian every day, we've become a local residente. Very cool.... Unfortunately, the left side of my brain hasn't kicked in and I'm still unable to parla Italiano! Must have something to do with that old saying "old dogs learning new tricks" or something. :)
