And we don't know how much it will cost either. Apparently we never have known how much it would cost. The Iraqi assets of cash and oil have alternately been included and excluded from the financial calculations.

So who is attacking us in Iraq, genius?
Baathists? Al Qaida? Shiites? Criminals? Remnants of Saddam's army? Terrorists? Freedom-fighters? Iranians? All of the above? Is it organized? I have heard all these theories but no one knows for sure.

Worse, we cannot tell friend from foe in a land where they all look the same and we don't even speak the language. This is the perfect storm situation for more and more losses.

Don't be stupid yourself. Because of almost zero support from the international community and no post-invasion planning, the war is being lost now, and at enormous cost to us. The invasion was the easy part. At least if we knew who was behind the atacks we could counter-attack, but we don't.
