Yes, I believe the GOP has targeted Kerry in particular as the one man they fear. It is stupendous how much negative propaganda they have put out about him, but try to find any of the same on any other candidate. Except for some attacks on Clark recently, you won't find much of anything. The GOP is giving Dean the hands-off treatment. They want him badly because they know they can beat him. If not for Kerry's Silver Star and tall masculine presidential look they'd know they could beat him too. But the GOP is very vulnerable to a Dem who can out-military them. That is their only real achilles heel.
