Mr. Zero, are you sure they upgraded your mother board to accept XP....usually they just install XP over the top of your current O/S.....but a fresh install is recomended

The requirements for XP are a processor of at least a Pentium 1....it's recomended that your hard drive is at least a couple gigs...RAM of at least 64 MB

I would hate to see you get taken advantage of....with the price of new PC's around $350. it's usually not worth replacing the motherboard...
