JW, Saville this a.m. talked about the Chinese and Japanese continuing to buy US confetti regardless of its value. He said they had boxed themselves into a corner, and since they want to continue to sell their stuff to us they will continue to take our paper, delaying the day of reckoning. He likened it to them putting off their massive banking system problems. They can do it for a long time without addressing the issues. Can the dollar just have a slow bleed downward, resulting in our economy just slowly going downhill? I keep thinking that things at some point are going so spiral out of control. Now I am not so sure.
