The GOP always howls in indignation when Dems do the same things they've been doing. They use the double standard that Dems are supposed to be more honest and moral. Davis taking out Riordan may be their model for how to take out Kerry and Clark. If it were to turn into a three man race with Dean, expect the GOP to go after Kerry and Clark ferociously and leave Dean alone. Dean being the most leftward of the three, plus the least macho, they'd get the candidate they want to run against.
