The debt went up, but very little. You miss the important point. The GDP increased at a fast rate than the debt so, in REAL terms, the debt decreased. Under bush, the debt increases much faster than the GDP. You need to study economics.

Pro, Why is it that you wish to rewrite history, but can't answer some of my basic questions about your hypocrisy? You posted.."stripping our intel capability in the mix."..and state that Clinton did this. Pro, it is a well known fact that Clinton warned Bush about the imminent threat of terrorist attacks and a proposal was given to Bush to form a Homeland Security agency. And what did Cod piece do with this warning and suggestion. IGNORED THEM BOTH AND SAID WE DIDN'T NEED A HOMELAND SECURITY AGENCY AS IT WAS A WASTE OF TIME AND THAT BUDGET CUTS WAS WHAT HE WANTED FOR HIS OIL BUDDIES!!!!! So spin your lies and denial...and why don't you in your spare time, go to Iraq and help AWOL find those mysteriously missing WMDs. PS: Pro, considering that AWOL didn't want a Homeland Security Agency...why do we have one now?
