Dean will not get 2 million people to send him $100.
That's a pipe dream in his head. Bush meanwhile will raise more money than has ever been spent and he can hang onto it until he needs to use it. The money will be used to defame the democratic candidates Bushies fear (Kerry, Clark) then whomever the nominee is. If Dean were to win, they would Dukakisize him very quickly then keep pouring it on, mocking him as a liberal little guy from a little state with zero major experience and weak on defense. Unfortunately for Dean, he's given them all the ammo they ened to do that. I fear it would be a landslide victory for Bush. Bush would not have to protect his base at all and could go after Dean in California. The race could be all over by July.

All this could change if Kerry surges back, if Clark hits his stride or if Al Gore steps in to stop Dean. In any of those three cases, Bush would be very vulnerable. The only other guy with a chance is Gephardt. I believe Bush would beat him, though it would be closer than against dean.
