that's not a link. that's your unverified account of what you allegedly heard or read. but that's okay. My point is that all political commentators have an agenda and bias--whether they're right or left. If you don't want to be just another mindless member of the herd you have to learn how to evaluate the words of such commentators in light of their points of view. You say Coulter's profession "is to say outrageously negative things about people opposing GW Bush." What the heck do you think Ivins' profession is? Her job is to bash anything and everything Republican. LOL!!! You've made my point yet again.

she should be banned from TV and everywhere else for saying such tripe Defending freedom of speech, are we? She went on defend joseph McCarthy. NOT QUITE. McCarthy said there were a great many COmmunist agents in the US gov't during the 40's and 50's. As the Venona intercepts and parts of the KGB archives that reached the West have shown, in fact there were. I have also read her dishing dirt about RFK's kid whom I knew who died of a drug overdose. This is normal for a Kennedy. Blame it in anything you want. You still have much to defend that family for. David Kennedy was not a kid I particularly liked but everyone who knew him understood he was a screw-up because of the trauma he suffered as a child. Lots of kids go through lots of h**l growing up, including seeing their father slain. Out here in reality, excuses for incidents 40 years old don't cut it.
