All i am saying is that this generation has a responsibility to help the next succeed in a nation with an expanding, not contracting middle class. People who work at Walmart and the like will always be poor. I don't know how it is helpful in the long run to artificially nudge them into the middle class. Not unless they use the extra wages to educate their kids out of the Walmart class. Education is the only way out for the vast majority. Watching their parents struggle on Walmart wages is part of education. And excellent motivation.
