Texas has two sides to it people, great people vs. crooked old boys with no respect for the law or anyone else. Of course it's hard to generalize but in my experience there one time trying to raise money I can tell you everyone was looking for a quick buck scheme, to evade taxes or otherwise skirt the rules. You scratch my back I'll scratch yours with a wink and a nod. The old horse-traders club. And what's good for the Texas economy is bad for the US economy, pretty much true. Always has been like that.
