There was also a missile attack on the Oil Ministry in Baghdad over the weekend. A building that the U.S. took great pains to spare from any war impacts.

Vietnam II. Almost. if Bush got his way and got to invade Iran that would be Vietnam II. I have travelled over there a bit. They hate us. They don't want us to give them freedom. They don't even know what freedom is. Maybe they don't even want it at all. However they are less inclined to kill UN types, especially if they can speak Arabic. Bush Mistake #1. Should have gotten moderate Arba states behind him before any invasion. If he'd just wanted Saddam out, a bullet would have done the trick. It could have been done eventually. Now we can expect more and more terrorism, not less.
