Details, details. You are correct. I am investing in ESV RDC for their leverage to deep shelf gas drilling which I understand they have the most exposure to. What I do not like about RIG is the combination of commodity jack ups and deepwater drill ships/semi's. DO RIG GSF to some degree PDE NE are in the dumper because this type of equipment is expected to stay in low demand. Who is going to make big investments in deepwater oil now with Iraq ready to be open for business in a year or two? With Russia opening its doors as well?
